We offer a variety of wellness programs to enhance your health and well being beyond the one-on-one physical therapy treatment including:
Yoga Class- Wednesdays at 6:30 to 7:30 pm– taught by Paula Sharon, LMT. Includes a Hatha Yoga style class modified for individuals with limitations due to orthopedic conditions or other health concerns that might restrict normal movement. Special attention is placed on breath work, meditation and gentle yoga postures designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Paula has 25 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and fitness.
Parkinson’s Exercise and Balance Class- Wednesdays 9:00-10:00 am taught by Jenny Reeve, PT, MSPT. Includes exercises and activities to work on the challenges specific to Parkinson’s Disease including posture, flexibility, strength, balance and ambulation.
General Exercise and Stretching Class and a Tai Chi class are being developed and should be available in the Fall.
