The Center for Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a variety of wellness programs to enhance your health and well-being beyond the one-on-one physical therapy treatment including:
Taught by Cheryl Pacyna who is a Kripalu certified yoga instructor will tailor classes to your needs – whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner. There are 2 classes per week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 AM. $120. for a 10-class card and $15 for a drop-in. The first class is free to see if it’s the right class for you. Come join us if you ever thought that Yoga should be part of your wellness regimen.
Independent Gym Program
Individual exercise programs can be developed for you for doing at home, in your present gym or at our gym. Our exercise equipment includes a bike, treadmill and elliptical as well as a Pilates Reformer and free weights/theraband- all to assist you in doing your customized program safely and comfortably.
Please join us for a weekly Qi Gong classes taught by Pat Clark. Qi Gong is a form of gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated — often stretching the body while increasing body fluid movement and building awareness of how the body moves in space.
Classes are Mondays 5:00-5:45 PM Oct. 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19. After that classes will resume in the Spring, 2019. FoodShare donation of $5 per class. Walk-ins welcomed.
This can be scheduled for your work or home office to help you prevent repetitive injuries and postural pain.
Cheryl Pacyna will be offering a comprehensive exercise class for adults with a variety of concerns or problems from arthritis to Parkinson’s Disease to work on general strengthening- stretching and balance training. The small class size make it easy to supervise and modify the program to you. Starting Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM. $120. for a 10-class card and $15 for a drop-in.
