The Center for Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a variety of wellness program to enhance your health and well-being beyond the one-on-one physical therapy treatment including:
Taught by Paula Sharon, LMT and Cheryl Pacyna -these small, closely supervised classes includes a Hatha Yoga style classes modified for individuals with limitations due to specific orthopedic conditions or other health concerns that might restrict normal movement. Special attention is placed on breath work, meditation and gentle yoga postures designed to improve strength, flexibility and balance. Tuesdays 6:15-7:30 PM; Wednesdays 8:00-9:15 AM and Wednesdays at 6:30-7:45 PM. $12 per class. Walk-Ins welcomed.
Independent Gym Program
Individual exercise programs can be developed for you for doing at home, in your present gym or at our gym. Our exercise equipment includes a bike, treadmill and elliptical as well as a Pilates Reformer and free weights/theraband- all to assist you in doing your customized program safely and comfortably.
Please join us for a weekly Qi Gong class. Qi Gong is a form of gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated — often stretching the body while increasing body fluid movement and building awareness of how the body moves in space.
Classes are Mondays 5:30-6:15 PM Sept. 11, 18- Oct. 2, 16, 23- Nov 6,13 FoodShare donation of $5 per class. Walk-ins welcomed.
This can be scheduled for your work or home office to help you prevent repetitive injuries and postural pain.
It is presently being developed to add to our regular series of classes.
